As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all building systems, including forklifts, batteries, battery chargers, HVAC equipment, refrigeration systems, dock doors and ramps, sprinkler systems, the roof, and all electrical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair all building systems, including forklifts, batteries, battery chargers, HVAC equipment, refrigeration systems, dock doors and ramps, sprinkler systems, the roof, and all electrical services.
- Test emergency generators and record data from main electrical panels.
- Inspect various equipment and building areas, including air compressors, roof and roof-mounted equipment, and sprinkler systems, and record data from inspections.
- Test sprinkler systems' water flow, tamper switches, and sprinkler system alarms.
- Test fire pumps and alarms.
- Inspect and repair or replace equipment as necessary to avoid downtime.
- Inspect, lubricate, and clean condensers and evaporators.
- Perform annual inspections on refrigeration compressors, including changing oil and filters, disassembling compressors for internal inspections, and aligning mechanical couplings.
- Inspect and lubricate freezer and cooler doors and perform needed repairs, maintaining inventory of repair parts.
- Design and construct carpentry items requested by other departments.
- Respond to maintenance calls.
- Repair HVAC piping and restroom facilities as needed.
- Create and/or purchase signs and install when needed.
- Maintain knowledge of systems and buildings.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
