Corewell Taylor ICU is a 16-bed Medical ICU where you will receive a variety of medical diagnoses. We provide care for patients requiring ventilator support, medication management, and surgery recovery. Our team works alongside physicians to assist with various bedside procedures. We collaborate with the Intensivist and multi-disciplinary teams to provide care and daily updates on patient progress.

Our facilities include a surgical pavilion, pain management clinic, orthopedic surgery, inpatient rehabilitation, and full-service radiology.

Scope of Work

The RN, under the ANA scope of practice, utilizes the nursing process to provide professional care by incorporating patient-family centered care principles. We assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients. Our RNs provide quality care under the direction of the Nurse Leader, following Corewell Health policies and procedures. We recognize the impact of nursing care and patient/family partnerships on patient outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Associates in Nursing is required.
  • Bachelors in Nursing is required within 5 years.
  • Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed healthcare role and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination.
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) is required.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required within 6 months.
  • Specialty Certification is highly recommended within 2 years.
Work Details

Full-time position with 36 hours per week.

Variable schedule with every other weekend.

7:00 P.M. - 7:30 A.M. shift.
