About the Position

We are looking for a qualified Classroom Aide - ELL and Inclusion to join our team. As a Classroom Aide, you will work closely with certified teachers to support student learning and inclusion in the classroom.

Main Responsibilities
  • Enhance student mastery of concepts and academic skills in targeted subject areas based on student/classroom needs
  • Reinforce classroom instruction for individual student or small/whole groups
  • Maintain confidentiality of student, staff, and department information within the school and community

You will work closely with certified teachers to support student learning and develop your skills in effective communication, working with students in an educational setting, and maintaining confidentiality of student, staff, and department information.

Requirements

A Para Educator License is required; minimum education requirement is completion of at least 60 semester hours of college coursework or a passing score on the ETS Para Pro exam.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $17.21 per hour, established by the Board of Education and set forth in the collective bargaining agreement. You will also have the opportunity to work 6 hours per day and enjoy benefits as part of our team.
