US Foods, Inc. is seeking a skilled Commercial Diesel Mechanic to join our team as a Fleet Maintenance Expert.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a fleet of diesel vehicles while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex diesel equipment issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and repair services on a wide range of heavy equipment
- Document all repairs and maintenance activities in accordance with company standards
- Ensure seamless operations by providing road rescue and transportation services as needed
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must possess:
- At least 3 years of commercial diesel mechanic experience or equivalent refrigerant certification
- Prior experience with administration of PM programs and adherence to EPA and OSHA regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
