Job Summary

CARTI is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Services Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation in our clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide quality customer service to patients and staff by providing one-on-one attention to detail.
  2. Respond to calls for housekeeping issues and contribute to team efforts.
  3. Clean and maintain all areas of the clinic, including offices, bathrooms, lavatories, halls, food service areas, and patient service areas.
  4. Dispose of trash and recyclables according to prescribed guidelines.
  5. Replenish paper and plastic products as needed.
  6. Maintain equipment and wear protective clothing as required by the work environment or safety regulations.
  7. May train workers engaged in cleaning and maintaining the premises.
  8. Communicate daily with applicable CARTI staff on cleaning and scheduling.
  9. Complete Daily Task Sheet.
  10. Respond to guest queries and requests.
  11. Some travel to clinics for general cleaning as requested by management.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  1. Current valid Arkansas Driver's License required for Little Rock and Pine Bluff locations.
  2. High school diploma or G.E.D., preferred.
  3. Minimum of one year housekeeping experience preferred; preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Working Conditions

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  1. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
  2. The employee regularly is required to stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
  3. This position also may require frequent pushing and pulling of heavy objects and the ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.
  4. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment

This position involves potential exposure to infectious diseases. Colleagues are offered appropriate vaccinations and safety training.
