We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at ProCare Therapy. As a dedicated healthcare professional, you will provide high-quality nursing care to students in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications and perform medical procedures, including G-tube feedings and female catheterizations.
- Manage diabetes care, including monitoring blood sugar levels and administering insulin.
- Provide tracheostomy care, including cleaning and maintaining the trach tube.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support students' health needs.
- Document and maintain accurate health records.
- Respond to health emergencies and provide first aid as necessary.
- Hold a valid California LVN license.
- Proficiency in G-tube feedings, female catheterizations, diabetes management, and trach care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required.
