Role Overview

The Pediatric Anesthesia Specialist will be responsible for providing anesthesia care to pediatric patients across various surgical and medical procedures. This role includes:

  • Directing and coordinating activities within the Anesthesia Department.
  • Ensuring the medical management of patients during surgical interventions.
  • Conducting pre-anesthesia assessments and obtaining patient consent.
  • Discussing anesthetic options and associated risks with patients and their families.
  • Administering anesthesia and monitoring patients' physiological conditions throughout procedures.
  • Performing necessary clinical interventions as required.

Qualifications

  • M.D./D.O. from an accredited medical institution.
  • Completion of an accredited residency program in anesthesia.
  • Current medical licensure.
  • ECFMG and FLEX certification.
