Job Title: Sales Engineer

As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for growing sales within your designated territory, working closely with customers to understand their needs and providing tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets within the territory.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and lead generation.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Conduct technical sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and customer support, to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions to effectively position STOBER Drives Inc. in the marketplace.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and market feedback to the Regional Manager and maintain CRM data and keep opportunities updated.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote STOBER Drives Inc. and generate leads.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the mechanical or industrial automation industry.
  • Hunter attitude and strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain complex products and solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently from a home office.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other sales tools.
  • Willingness to travel within the territory as needed.
