As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for growing sales within your designated territory, working closely with customers to understand their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets within the territory.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and lead generation.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Conduct technical sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and customer support, to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions to effectively position STOBER Drives Inc. in the marketplace.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and market feedback to the Regional Manager and maintain CRM data and keep opportunities updated.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote STOBER Drives Inc. and generate leads.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the mechanical or industrial automation industry.
- Hunter attitude and strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain complex products and solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently from a home office.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other sales tools.
- Willingness to travel within the territory as needed.
