Job Summary

Under direct supervision, cleans and documents tasking in a clean room environment, adhering to regulatory requirements and standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for understanding and following established procedures for cleaning the clean room, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Abides by and adheres to all normal safety or security rules and regulations, reporting infractions as necessary.
  • Handles, collects, labels, and/or transfers hazardous chemical waste according to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintains a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation, adhering to standard operating procedures and associated regulatory documentation.
  • Manages and distributes clean room garments, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
  • Adheres to strict attendance guidelines, ensuring timely and regular attendance.
  • Maintains adherence to housekeeping processes, ensuring a clean and safe environment.

Additional Responsibilities

  • May be required to work other shifts, as needed.

Requirements

Education

High school diploma or GED, or relevant experience may be considered.

Experience

No prior experience required.

Skills

  • Ability to work under supervision from a working Lead.
  • Reading and comprehending procedures written in English, able to work from written procedures.
  • Ability to inspect own work for accuracy and adherence to policies.
  • Ability to work effectively with other associates, using good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to learn and comply with new methods, processes, and policies.
  • Ability to respond with a sense of urgency and work effectively and productively.
  • Ability to work in high places using ladders or lifts.
  • Ability to successfully complete training on biohazards and other regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Physical Requirements

General Labor Environment requirements include: use of personal protective equipment, reading, speaking, hearing, walking, bending, standing, stretching/reaching, hand/finger dexterity.

  • Required ability to lift up to 50 pounds, or transporting up to 500 pounds via carts or mechanized equipment.
  • Requires the ability to regularly perform repetitive motions.
  • Must be able to work under florescent lighting.
  • Must be able to maintain place with clean room environment.

Compensation

Target Pay Range: $19.00 to $23.00 - Hourly pay rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
