Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team at JM Hunter Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers in the lumber and building materials industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet or exceed sales goals by generating new business, managing existing accounts, and building relationships with customers
• Develop and implement sales plans, including identifying new opportunities and leads
• Provide technical support to customers by offering product advice and expertise
• Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction
• Monitor and analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities
• Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and events to promote our products and services
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports

Requirements:

• Proven sales experience in the lumber and building materials industry
• Strong knowledge of the industry, products, and services
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions
• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to customer locations
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
