Key Carrier Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Key Carrier to join our team at TJX Companies, Inc. As a Key Carrier, you will play a vital role in maintaining the overall success of our store by taking on leadership responsibilities and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service by creating a positive and welcoming experience for all customers.
  • Leadership: Act as a leader on the sales floor, ensuring that all tasks and activities are completed in accordance with store plan and priorities.
  • Team Management: Supervise and coach sales associates to ensure they are meeting performance expectations and providing excellent customer service.
  • Store Operations: Maintain accurate associate coverage in service areas, ensure opening and closing procedures are executed according to company guidelines, and promote a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with management and associates to set priorities, provide progress updates, and address any issues or concerns.
Requirements:
  • Availability: Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Leadership Experience: 6 months of leadership experience in a retail environment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proven problem-solving skills and ability to respond effectively to changing situations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Starting pay range: $14.00 to $14.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
