Transportation Driver (CNA) Job Description

Cleveland Manor is seeking a compassionate and skilled Transportation Driver (CNA) to join our team. As a Transportation Driver (CNA), you will be responsible for transporting residents, staff, volunteers, and others to scheduled events, while ensuring their safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport residents, staff, volunteers, and others to scheduled events.
  • Coordinate transportation services with appropriate staff members.
  • Assist residents in and out of the vehicle, using proper safety procedures.
  • Operate mechanical lift as required for wheelchair-bound patients.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions before leaving the center with residents.
  • Obtain appropriate paperwork before leaving the center with residents.
  • Assess and correct inappropriate resident appearance before leaving the center.
  • Follow Resident's Rights and center safety protocol.
  • Dress professionally and represent the center in a professional manner.
  • Monitor and report necessary mechanical maintenance needed to ensure safe operations of the vehicle.
  • Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working conditions.
  • Maintain records, such as vehicle logs and destinations, as required.
  • Report any issues or problems that may arise to the Transportation Coordinator and Administrator.
  • Comply with state, federal, and all other applicable health care and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
  • Required valid certification as a CNA in the state of Oklahoma.
  • Must be CPR certified.
  • Must be able to operate a vehicle.
  • Valid State Insurance and License with no marks on their driving record.
  • Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
