About the Role
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the food and nutrition department, including staff supervision and management.
- Develop and implement nutrition programs that promote healthy eating habits and support patient recovery.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of registered dietitians, dietary technicians, and other support staff to ensure efficient and effective nutrition service delivery.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care and staff satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition or related field required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Certifications or training in nutrition-related areas (e.g., food safety, nutrition management) an asset.
