Job Overview

Summit Interconnect, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Technician to join our team. We specialize in the production of advanced technology printed circuit boards, focusing on intricate rigid and rigid-flex products, particularly in RF/Microwave applications.

Position Summary: The ideal candidate will interpret customer specifications and utilize Summit Traveler. Proficiency in Military and Commercial standards is essential. Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and measurement loops is required. Experience with route setup programs, CNC editing, counter sinks, counter bores, score setups, and bevel setups is crucial. The ability to troubleshoot in-process issues is also necessary.

Qualifications: To excel in this role, candidates must possess at least one year of experience in the printed circuit board sector and demonstrate competency in all essential duties. The following qualifications are necessary:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in PCB fabrication.
  • Effective communication skills with management and supervisors.
  • Basic mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Strong concentration and focus, even amidst minor distractions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate in-process panels and finalize the production of panels.
  • Maintain quality assurance throughout the fabrication process.
  • Complete additional tasks as directed by the department supervisor.

Authorities:

  • Notify Quality Assurance when products deviate from customer specifications.

Physical Requirements:

  • This role requires standing for the entire shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Compensation and Benefits: Summit offers a comprehensive benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA plans, Hospital and Accident plans, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Paid Holidays. Benefits commence on the first day of the month following the date of hire.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
