We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team at MedCare Pediatric Group, LP. As a key member of our pediatric therapy team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality speech therapy services to our young patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric clients to identify speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address these disorders and promote effective communication skills.
  • Therapy Implementation: Deliver evidence-based speech therapy services to pediatric clients, including assessment, treatment, and progress monitoring. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Documentation and Communication: Maintain accurate and detailed records of client assessments, treatment plans, and progress. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Graduate of an accredited school program of Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA). Licensed to practice as an SLPA in Texas by anticipated start date.
  • Experience: Experience in pediatrics and bilingual settings is a plus, but not required.
