Responsibilities- Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric clients to identify speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address these disorders and promote effective communication skills.
- Therapy Implementation: Deliver evidence-based speech therapy services to pediatric clients, including assessment, treatment, and progress monitoring. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Documentation and Communication: Maintain accurate and detailed records of client assessments, treatment plans, and progress. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Education and Licensure: Graduate of an accredited school program of Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA). Licensed to practice as an SLPA in Texas by anticipated start date.
- Experience: Experience in pediatrics and bilingual settings is a plus, but not required.
