We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at DaVita, a leading provider of dialysis services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that requires a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, rotating weekends, and rotating holidays. You will work in a dynamic environment, providing nephrology care through hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), and apheresis.
Responsibilities- Deliver dialysis to patients at a contracted healthcare system, working closely with the hospital and DaVita team.
- Provide lifesaving care during regularly scheduled and on-call shifts, with schedules varying by hospital system.
- Oversee a group of patients with the support of PCTs, conducting patient observations, measuring stats, and machine setup.
- Work with your head, heart, and hands each day in a fast-paced environment, leveraging a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
- Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) is preferred.
