Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pipelayer/Mechanical Crew Member to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining complex piping systems, including pumps, blowers, and specialty equipment. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our water and wastewater infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain pumps, blowers, and clarifier equipment, including automated and manual screens, and MBR equipment.
  • Install and lay underground communication and electrical ducts.
  • Install and set electrical ground boxes, hand holes, manholes, inlets, and other structures.
  • Caulk joints, make threaded and flanged connections, and install valves and other accessories.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a pipelayer or in a related field.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment, with frequent exposure to changing weather conditions.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
