Pharmacy Technician Job Description

At Select Medical, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care in a compassionate environment. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality pharmacy services to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver superior quality in all pharmacy tasks and services, working under the direction of a licensed pharmacist.
  • Prepare medications, including picking up drug orders at the nursing station and delivering them to the correct patient area.
  • Assist with accurate billing and crediting of patient medications, maintaining drugs in the pharmacy according to the Drug Formulary.
  • Monitor doses administered and maintain all forms and reports necessary for the control of narcotics and other controlled substances.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Current Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred unless required by the State.
