Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to golfers and visitors, ensuring a positive experience and building customer loyalty.
  • Display, promote, and sell golf merchandise, including apparel, accessories, and equipment.
  • Assist with daily operations, including cash handling, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Coordinate and administer daily play, outings, tournaments, and special events, ensuring smooth execution and excellent customer experience.
  • Regulate the speed of play on the course, ensuring a fair and enjoyable experience for all golfers.
  • Oversee the work of cart attendants and report any necessary information to the Assistant or Head Golf Professional.
  • Treat every customer with courtesy, respect, and friendliness, ensuring a positive and inclusive experience for all.
  • Ensure the safety of all external and internal customers and the protection of Park District property.
  • Have knowledge of the course daily status report and communicate information to customers.
  • Have the ability to work with cash handling and balance cash drawers.
  • Be able to multitask efficiently, answering phone calls and working face-to-face with customers in a high-paced environment.
  • Work with EZLinks Tee Sheet and RecTrac POS system.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior golf-related knowledge or experience preferred.
