Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Halloween Haunt Usher at Kings Dominion. As a key member of our event staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our Halloween Haunt event.

Responsibilities
  • Meet and greet park guests, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Engage with guests through verbal interactions, answering questions and providing directions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain a high level of appearance and adhere to park guidelines.
  • Count guests as they enter and record show/maze attendance.
  • Deliver a compelling verbal spiel about the maze, ensuring guests are excited and prepared for the experience.
  • Hole punch Fright Lane badges and enforce rules and policies within the maze.
  • Guide guests to their seats and provide assistance upon exit of shows.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the performance/maze area.
  • Adhere to and enforce all park policies and procedures, including safety, attendance, and EEO policies.
Qualifications
  • Must be 16 years of age or older.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory drug test and background check.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments and stand for extended periods.
  • Must have open availability on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
