Inova Health System is seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team in Falls Church, Virginia.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to administer sound patient care practices, complete ancillary tasks, and maintain equipment and exam rooms in a neat and safe condition.

Responsibilities
  • Administer radiologic principles and techniques to ensure optimal examinations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to obtain clinical history and informed consent.
  • Assist physicians in performing examinations using standard department protocols and sterile techniques.
  • Recognize clinical and emergent problems and take appropriate action to resolve them.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Radiologic Technologist - Mammography within 12 months of hire, Basic Life Support upon start, American Registered Radiologic Technologists upon start.
  • Licensure: Licensed Radiologic Technologist within 12 months required for INOVA nonhospital Licensed centers.
  • Experience: None required.
  • Education: Vocational / Technical Radiology - Graduate of an accredited school of radiography.
