We are seeking an experienced Information Visualization Lead to join our team at The Intelligence & Security Academy, LLC.

Company Overview

Our company provides consulting services to federal clients in Intelligence and National Security matters, specializing in delivering strategic consulting and innovative solutions. We also provide education & training to federal government agencies, private sector companies, and academic institutions in areas such as intelligence analysis, budget formulation policy development, and more. Our systems engineering and engineering management services focus on the design, development, integration, and management of complex systems.

Job Description

The successful candidate will lead our Content Design Team (CDT) in supporting client delivery and driving the development of high-quality visual content. This includes charts and graphs, written content, flow diagrams, infographics, presentation visuals, illustrations, publication design, cover designs, brochures, posters, and logos. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver on-brand concepts and designs within digital, print, and other real-world mediums while ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Developing and managing a detailed project schedule and work plan
  2. Providing regular project updates to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  3. Conceptualizing, designing, and producing visual solutions for a wide variety of formats and dissemination outputs
  4. Coordinating across teams to translate technical subjects or complex processes into visually appealing content for non-technical audiences
  5. Writing compelling text content and editing written content of other ISA team members
  6. Using creativity and graphic design skills to create technical diagrams and charts
  7. Maintaining efficient and scalable production of all digital & print assets - re: templates, resizing and versioning
  8. Developing robust visualizations and infographics tailored to client needs and requirements and shaping results into compelling stories

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience, with 3+ years of experience in government/defense contracting preferred
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  • Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software applications such as CANVA, with a required emphasis on the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Power Point, Word, Access, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, oral and written communication skills

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $128,411.00 - $200,000.00 per year, depending on experience, education, and certifications. Full-time employees working at least 30 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in ISA's full benefit program, including health insurance, FSA/HSA options, professional development opportunities, and work-life programs.
