Job Summary

The Production Supervisor - Night Shift role at Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is a key position that requires a motivated and professional individual to lead our team in the Midway, TN facility. Key Responsibilities
  • Learn, develop, and perform in a safety-oriented and team-driven environment.
  • Ensure all employees follow operation standards and working practices developed by management and verify conformance to specifications.
  • Assist management with compiling, storing, and retrieving production data and other record-keeping duties.
  • Use data to drive optimal departmental results defined by AOP.
  • Kronos timekeeping & payroll.
  • Assist with the company's safety program to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment.
  • Contribute to and support Process Improvement, Quality Assurance, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
  • Supervise a diverse work group.
  • Handle employee relations issues.
  • Process and cost improvements.
  • Manage employee performance.
  • Communicate the goals of the organization to the workforce through one-on-one, crew, toolbox, and safety meetings.
Requirements
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 21-turn schedule days or nights.
  • Basic Packing & Material Handling process knowledge.
  • Equipment operation knowledge (Powered Industrial Equipment).
  • Leadership attributes in line with OBE vision.
  • Prior management experience a plus.
  • Manufacturing experience required.
  • Developed PC skills with MS Word, Excel, & PPT.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a team environment supportive of employees, the organization, as well as safety and production efforts.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through teamwork.
  • Experience with employee training and development.
  • Quality orientation and attention to detail managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost, and employee relations.
