Job SummaryTree of Life Ministries Inc. is seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at The Institute for Child and Family Development. As a key member of our clinical services team, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. We are looking for a compassionate and experienced therapist who can work independently, utilizing evidence-based practices to address a variety of mental health issues.Key Responsibilities
  • Client Assessment: Conduct thorough initial assessments to determine clients' mental health status, including psychological, emotional, behavioral, and environmental factors.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions and align with clients' goals and needs.
  • Therapeutic Intervention: Provide individual, group, couples, and family therapy sessions utilizing appropriate therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR).
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and any relevant communications.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers, case managers, and support systems to coordinate care for clients.
  • Ethical Practice: Adhere to all ethical guidelines and legal requirements, including maintaining confidentiality and obtaining informed consent.
  • Continuing Education: Stay current with developments in the field by participating in professional development and continuing education opportunities.
  • Supervision and Consultation: Seek out supervision and consultation as needed to enhance clinical skills and ensure best practices.
Qualifications
