Diet Menu Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Diet Menu Coordinator to join our team at TouchPoint. In this role, you will be responsible for patient menu management, data collection, and diet office functions.
Responsibilities- Distribute and collect menus in a timely manner.
- Assist patients in completing menu selections in compliance with prescribed diets, as assigned by the dietitian.
- Offer alternatives to menu options as allowed on prescribed diets in accordance with food allergies or sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
- Plan regular and modified menus based on the current diet manual.
- Prepare and distribute supplements, tube feedings, and enteral formula in an accurate and timely manner.
- Manage human/donor milk and/or infant formula inventory and distribution.
- Maintain facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient's rights policies.
- Comply with regulatory agency standards, including federal, state, and TJC.
- Complete all required documentation, reports, and logs.
- Follow facility and department infection-control policies and procedures.
- Participate in facility-wide and department Performance Improvement Program and on Performance Improvement teams to improve processes and patient care.
