We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Pine Tree Lodge Nursing Center. As a Per Diem (PRN) Physical Therapy Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals to provide person-centered care to our residents.

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments, providing skilled physical therapy services, and implementing and modifying patient treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administering physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing.
  • Providing skilled physical therapy services in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
  • Implementing and modifying patient treatment plans with PT supervision.
  • Measuring and recording patient motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
  • Monitoring patient response to treatment intervention and modifying treatment approach as clinically appropriate.
  • Providing clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
  • Ensuring thorough and timely documentation of patient care.

Requirements:

  • Active/Valid Texas license as Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
