Job Description
The Hospice Spiritual Counselor plays a vital role in the provision of spiritual care services to patients and their families/caregivers. Key responsibilities include conducting spiritual assessments, developing individualized care plans, and providing direct spiritual care.

Essential Job Functions
  • Conduct thorough spiritual assessments to identify patients' needs and develop targeted care plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their loved ones during challenging times.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate degree in theology or seminary education.
  • Experience working with individuals and families dealing with end-of-life issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
