We are seeking a compassionate and experienced LPN to join our team as a Resident Care Director at The Rubin Home Assisted Living in Saugus, MA.
Job SummaryThe Resident Care Director will be responsible for leading and supervising the training and performance of licensed and non-licensed nursing staff, while overseeing resident care and wellness programs. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and dedicated LPN to develop their leadership skills and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents and staff.
Responsibilities- Lead and supervise the training and performance of licensed and non-licensed nursing staff
- Oversee resident care and wellness programs
- Educate and assist potential residents and their families with the admissions process
- Provide tours of the facility and answer admission calls
- Coordinate with physicians, pharmacies, certified agencies, and other healthcare vendors
- Participate in multidisciplinary care plan meetings and ensure effective case management and follow-up practices
- Ensure resident needs are met by coordinating and monitoring restorative services, activities, and related support services
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with staff, residents, and their families
- Assist the executive director in developing and implementing policies and procedures
- Associates degree or higher in human service management, housing management, social work, or nursing
- Experience in community health, human services, or assisted living preferred
- RN or LPN nursing practice background
- Strong understanding of assisted living, Medicaid, Medicare, and SWH programs
- Completion of a 3-day orientation on assisted living and other required topics
- Annual physical exam and negative Mantoux test
- Excellent organizational, communication, and social skills
