Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and bar-tend shifts with a small team of staff, earning tips and a percentage of sales from special events.
  • Write and post schedules for all staff in advance, ensuring everyone receives their schedule via our online platform.
  • Use our Point of Sale (POS) system for all items for sale, staff clocking in/out, and inventory management.
  • Order products from vendors weekly to maintain a proper inventory level and control costs.
  • Maintain accountability for all inventory, manage labor, and controllable expenses.
  • Work with our inventory team to maintain our budgeted cost of goods, keeping variances in line and products accounted for.
  • Create and develop drink and snack menus, featuring special drinks daily, weekly, and seasonally.
  • Market the cocktail lounge, promoting it to build sales and drive revenue growth.
  • Produce and execute events, such as private parties, special events, and holiday parties, while staying within budget.
  • Run social media for the cocktail lounge, following guidelines while having fun with the staff, space, and guests.

Requirements:

  • Experience is not required, but a strong personality, outgoing nature, team orientation, organization, and ability to multitask at a high level are essential.
