Pipe Welder

Industrial Trade Services is seeking a skilled Journeyman Welder to join our team. As a Journeyman Welder, you will be responsible for performing a variety of welding tasks, including pipe fabrication, welding, and inspection.

• Select and prepare materials and equipment according to specifications.
• Plan and execute welding layouts, assembly, and welding operations.
• Operate various welding processes, including Gas-Metal Arc, Flux-Cored Arc, Gas-Tungsten Arc, Submerged Arc, and Shielded Metal Arc.
• Inspect and test welds to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Perform minor maintenance and cleaning activities on tools and equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in welding or a related field preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

The Journeyman Welder will work in a fast-paced industrial environment, with regular exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. The employee must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, gloves, and a welding helmet.

The physical demands of this job include standing, walking, climbing, and bending. The employee must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds and have good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
