The Pine Bluff Clinic is seeking a dedicated Practical Nurse Specialist to join our team. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
The Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in gathering patient and family information that aids the Registered Nurse in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The LPN is responsible for delivering safe and effective care to assigned patients under the guidance and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather patient and family data to support the identification of clinical, educational, psychosocial, and cultural needs, effectively communicating findings to the healthcare team.
- Contribute to the patient care plan based on identified needs while recognizing the necessity to involve other healthcare professionals when appropriate.
- Organize and prioritize patient care tasks to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
- Execute routine patient care duties and administer medications safely and promptly, while being prepared to respond to emergencies.
- Tailor nursing interventions to meet the specific needs of patients and families, adjusting as necessary when those needs evolve.
- Reassess and adjust the patient care plan in collaboration with the supervising Registered Nurse.
- Engage in quality and safety initiatives, including participation in various committees and programs.
- Assist in recruitment efforts, including involvement in interviews and promotional activities.
- Enhance patient experience by developing and implementing strategies to improve satisfaction.
