Nurse Practitioner

At TheraCare of New York, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Charge Nurse on our 2nd shift. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to our patients, supervising direct care personnel, and collaborating with our Unit Manager to ensure seamless care delivery.

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on your shift, adhering to our Comprehensive Care Plan.
• Supervise and mentor direct care personnel, ensuring they have the necessary support and resources to deliver excellent care.
• Collaborate with the Unit Manager to ensure accurate and thorough documentation in patient records.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Indiana.
• Passion for serving others and delivering exceptional patient care.
• Professional appearance and behavior, with a commitment to maintaining a positive and respectful work environment.
• Ability to work effectively with a dedicated team to achieve shared goals.

• General:
  • Currently licensed and registered to practice as a professional nurse in the State of Indiana.
  • Successfully complete pre-employment process and screening.
  • Pass the physical examination given in behalf of gainful employment within the facility.
  • Professional manner and appearance.
• Job Knowledge:
  • Nursing policies and procedures.
  • Administration of medication, possible side effects, treatment administration, local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to resident care.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices.
  • Physical, psychological, social, and medical needs of residents.
  • Organizational structure and duties of employees under supervision of unit manager.
• Other:
