We are seeking a skilled Experiential Therapist to join our team at West Pines Behavioral Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and promoting a safe and therapeutic environment.

• Develop and implement individual and group therapy plans to aid in the development of skills and behaviors of patients.
• Provide assessments and treatment to patients to ensure they function to the highest level of independence.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment through the use of various experiential modalities.
• Assess coping mechanisms, leisure history, skills, and current functioning to determine appropriateness to participate in therapy.
• Plan and implement group, individual, and family treatments as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required.
• One year of behavioral health experience is required.
• Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in a mental health field or related experience, as well as three years of experience in mental health.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to see and read information, labels, and assess patient needs. They will also be able to operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and verbally communicate with patient care providers, patients, and visitors. Manual dexterity is required for manipulating complex and delicate equipment, and the ability to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients is necessary. The candidate will also be expected to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment.
