About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Legend Senior Living. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, ensuring a safe and attractive living environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment, facilities, and grounds to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Complete and document work orders as assigned by the Maintenance Director, including maintenance and repairs for buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  • Follow established procedures for troubleshooting and reporting any issues or needed parts to the Maintenance Director.
  • Assist the Maintenance Director with inventory management, preventative maintenance, warranties, inspections, and oversight of work performed by outside vendors.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a related trade or position, preferably with expertise in electrical, HVAC, and repairs/maintenance.
  • The ability to operate a motor vehicle as part of service and delivery requirements.
Working Conditions

This role operates in various environments throughout the residence, exposing you to heat, cold, various weather conditions, sharp objects, electric tools, and various chemicals. You may also be exposed to materials that commonly cause allergic reactions such as paint, fiberglass, dusts, grass, and pollens.
