POSITION:
Speech-Language Pathologist (Home Health)

TYPE:
Part Time/Per Diem

LOCATION:
Various areas

PAY:

Charting Efficiency:
Streamlined dictation process for improved work/life balance

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
2. Develop tailored treatment and therapy plans to meet the unique needs of a diverse patient population.
3. Conduct screenings to identify voice or speech issues.
4. Provide education to patients and their families regarding speech disorders and their underlying causes.
5. Maintain comprehensive records related to patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.
6. Communicate updates and progress to relevant parties, including family members and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Compassionate and attentive, with the ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs). Successful completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under the guidance of a licensed professional.

Active California Speech & Language Pathologist license. Minimum of 6 months of experience in the field.
Strong knowledge of speech-related conditions, their causes, and treatment options.
Exceptional coaching, verbal, and written communication skills.
Proficient in computer use, particularly with patient and healthcare databases.
Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance.
CPR Certification.
Strong computer skills with the ability to complete electronic medical records documentation promptly.
