Position Overview:
The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for conducting thorough inspections of components, door parts, and assemblies in accordance with established quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate quality concerns to the Quality team and Quality Control Manager.
- Isolate questionable components and products.
- Utilize measurement tools and effectively relay results to the Quality team.
- Conduct quality audits to ensure production adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Provide necessary data to Quality Assurance personnel for process flow and quality analysis.
- Review Quality Control reports and initiate corrective actions when standards are not met.
- Suggest improvements in production processes related to quality and efficiency.
- Generate reports, gather data, and complete process tools to maintain quality levels.
- Facilitate customer inspections as required.
- Coordinate with salvage door buyers for loading operations.
- Repair defective doors when feasible.
- Compile and display daily Quality metrics for production teams.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in reading and writing English.
- Ability to lift heavy items and adapt to daily work demands.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Positive attitude and an optimistic approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to make independent judgments.
