As a Facilities HVAC Technician, your responsibilities will include improving the overall work environment and guest experience through facility enhancements, replacements, and maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently implement the Preventive Maintenance program
- Assist management in maintaining compliance with Health Department regulations
- Identify and report any misuse or damage to equipment
- Respond swiftly to urgent Class 1 situations
- Perform routine maintenance on facilities, equipment, and grounds
- Ensure timely submission of invoices to the Accounts Payable department
- Stay informed about technological advancements affecting maintenance practices
- Support product implementations requiring facility upgrades
- Follow company safety and security protocols
- Manage inventory of essential parts for urgent repairs
- Evaluate and monitor the performance of third-party service providers
- Assist in renovation projects, including coordinating with contractors and procuring materials
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- A minimum of five years of experience in a maintenance-related role
- CFC License required
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of HVAC systems, gas-operated machinery, and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Basic carpentry and building maintenance skills
- Effective time management abilities
- Proficient in IT for calendar and work order management
- Experience in vendor management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a maintenance-related field
- Journeyman's license
- OSHA 10 certification
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Physical Requirements: The position may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling, climbing, and lifting up to 40 pounds. Additionally, it involves working in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
Work Environment: The role necessitates frequent outdoor work, regardless of prevailing weather conditions.
