Position Overview:

As a Facilities HVAC Technician, your responsibilities will include improving the overall work environment and guest experience through facility enhancements, replacements, and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently implement the Preventive Maintenance program
  • Assist management in maintaining compliance with Health Department regulations
  • Identify and report any misuse or damage to equipment
  • Respond swiftly to urgent Class 1 situations
  • Perform routine maintenance on facilities, equipment, and grounds
  • Ensure timely submission of invoices to the Accounts Payable department
  • Stay informed about technological advancements affecting maintenance practices
  • Support product implementations requiring facility upgrades
  • Follow company safety and security protocols
  • Manage inventory of essential parts for urgent repairs
  • Evaluate and monitor the performance of third-party service providers
  • Assist in renovation projects, including coordinating with contractors and procuring materials

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a maintenance-related role
  • CFC License required
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of HVAC systems, gas-operated machinery, and electrical systems
  • Ability to work independently and troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Basic carpentry and building maintenance skills
  • Effective time management abilities
  • Proficient in IT for calendar and work order management
  • Experience in vendor management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a maintenance-related field
  • Journeyman's license
  • OSHA 10 certification

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Physical Requirements: The position may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling, climbing, and lifting up to 40 pounds. Additionally, it involves working in various weather conditions and confined spaces.

Work Environment: The role necessitates frequent outdoor work, regardless of prevailing weather conditions.
