Job Summary

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse at Seniordoc, you will provide high-quality patient care in accordance with physician orders and established company policies. Your expertise will ensure a safe and supportive environment for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in maintaining a physical, social, and psychological environment that promotes patient well-being.
  2. Document patient care and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner.
  3. Conduct EOBs and obtain required consents to ensure seamless patient care.
  4. Supervise and direct nursing assistants as needed, adhering to state licensure regulations.
  5. Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians, documenting and reviewing medication and treatment sheets for accuracy.
  6. Monitor patient responses to care treatment plans and possess knowledge of medication interactions.
  7. Count controlled substances and secure reconciliation during shifts.
  8. Assist with discharge processes and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  9. Possess knowledge of OSHA regulations, infection control standards, and emergency procedures.
  10. Document all pertinent information regarding nursing care and patient observations.
  11. Attend training to maintain skill level and stay current in emerging healthcare trends.

Requirements:

Education as required to obtain state nursing license (LPN/LVN). One to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. LPN or LVN license, fire safety training, and a valid driver's license with an insured vehicle.
