Position Overview:
We are in search of a proactive, detail-oriented Briefing Attorney to enhance our esteemed legal team. In this pivotal role, you will be integral to our litigation efforts, conducting thorough research, preparing essential legal documents, and supporting our trial attorneys. This position provides a unique chance to engage in high-level legal analysis and writing within a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform extensive legal research on various aspects of personal injury litigation.
2. Draft, edit, and finalize briefs, motions, memoranda, and other legal documents.
3. Analyze complex legal issues to provide clear and informed guidance.
4. Collaborate with trial attorneys to formulate effective legal strategies.
5. Ensure timely submission of all legal documents to the appropriate courts.
6. Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and court rulings impacting personal injury cases.
7. Participate in client consultations and legal proceedings as necessary.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor degree from an accredited institution.
2. Active admission to the state bar.
3. At least 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or a related field.
4. Proven experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including briefs and motions.
5. Strong legal research and writing capabilities.
6. In-depth knowledge of personal injury law and court procedures.
7. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
8. Capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
10. High standards of professional ethics and integrity.
