Job Title: Deputy Court Clerk

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Deputy Court Clerk to join our team at the City of Savannah Recorder's Court. As a Deputy Court Clerk, you will be responsible for performing complex case management functions, including preparing dockets, entering traffic citations, and running traffic histories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare dockets for traffic hearings, trials, and criminal cases
  • Enter traffic citations and criminal cases into the court's database
  • Run traffic histories via the Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC)
  • Provide excellent customer service to the public, City officials, and other City departments
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, document preparation, and filing

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in a related field, plus two years of judicial case management experience
  • Knowledge of court rules, legal terminology, and courtroom procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
