Job Summary

Geisinger Health System is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist Lead to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for supervising daily operations, developing and implementing improvements in radiology services, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily operations of assigned modality, including participating in establishing technical work schedules and improving imaging protocols.
  • Develop and initiate improvements in the organization and delivery of high-quality, cost-effective radiology services.
  • Responsible for overall quality of assigned area, including performing imaging and therapeutic procedures when available.
  • Meet regulatory requirements of assigned sections and perform duties to provide the highest level of patient care and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Facilitate communication horizontally with the functional area and across the entire Division of Radiology.
Requirements
  • Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Radiologic Technology.
  • Minimum of 5 years-Clinical experience.
  • Certification(s) and License(s): Basic Life Support Certification, Certified Radiology Technologist, Certified MRI Technologist.
