We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at Glenbrook Hospital. As a Patient Care Technician, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care and support the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with vital signs, 12-lead EKG, bladder ultrasound, Foley catheter and IV adapter removal, sterile specimen collection, bathing, beds, ambulating, turning, hourly rounding, blood glucose, feeding, and preparing patients for discharge.
- Implement patient-specific care plans and participate in activities essential to the functioning of the patient care unit.
- Contribute to safety outcomes and promote high-quality patient experiences.
- Eligible to work in the US
- Completion of an accredited certified nursing assistant (CNA) training course preferred
- Completion of at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing preferred
- 1 year of customer service and/or prior nursing assistant experience preferred
