Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team as a NeuroRestorative Specialist. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in the success of our organization by providing training, assistance, and supervision to individuals receiving care in various settings.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Training and Assistance: Offer guidance and support to individuals in areas such as living skills, therapeutic recreation, and daily activities.
- Assist with Daily Activities: Help with meal preparation, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and medication administration.
- Facilitate Community Involvement: Accompany individuals on outings, provide transportation to work or other activities, and facilitate relationships between employers and individuals served.
- Work with Clinical Staff: Collaborate with our clinical team to support therapeutic and behavioral plans.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required for this role.
- 1+ Years of Experience in Direct Support: Previous experience in a similar role is necessary.
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license from the state of residence is required.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Background Clearance: Successful clearance of background checks is necessary.
- Caring Attitude and Skills: A caring attitude, strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication skills are essential.
- Flexible Scheduling: Full-time, part-time, and as-needed schedules are available.
