Key Responsibilities
As a CDL A Truck Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of products to various destinations. Your duties will include:
  • Operating a tractor-trailer or bobtail truck in compliance with all applicable laws.
  • Loading and unloading products, ensuring accuracy and safety.
  • Conducting pre-trip inspections to verify the integrity of the load.
  • Following designated routes while adhering to traffic regulations.
  • Completing necessary documentation, including shipping bills and reports.
  • Performing routine vehicle maintenance checks and reporting issues promptly.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in the corrugated industry is preferred.
  • Ability to pass substance abuse screenings.
  • Strong attention to detail and dexterity in vehicle operation.

  • Reading and interpreting instructions.
  • Basic mathematical calculations.
  • Problem-solving in standardized situations.
  • Understanding equipment design and operational efficiency.

Physical Requirements

  • Lift and move items up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
