Job Description

At Smiths Detection, we are seeking a highly skilled Field Support Specialist to join our team. As a Field Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to customers in the field, ensuring that our security and detection solutions operate effectively and efficiently.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, and on-site visits.
  • Conduct site assessments and develop recommendations for improving system performance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance customer knowledge and proficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and issue resolutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A degree in a relevant technical field, such as electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a field service or technical support role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
