Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care to labor and delivery patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the birthing process.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients, identifying potential health risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • A valid Registered Nurse-Labor and Delivery license in the state of Wisconsin.
  • At least 1 year of experience in labor and delivery nursing, preferably in a travel assignment setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and a patient-centered approach to nursing practice.
