Staff Today Inc is seeking a highly skilled Psychologist to join our team. As a Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing mental health services to individuals in need. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial mental health evaluations to assess an individual's current needs and make treatment recommendations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that reflect the standard of practice.
- Provide crisis intervention, group psychotherapy, and face-to-face interviews as needed.
- Identify relevant signs and symptoms of psychiatric disorders and apply psychological assessments to diagnose and manage presenting symptomatology.
- Consult with supervisors, treatment team members, and other healthcare personnel to develop effective treatment plans.
- Document all care provided to individuals, including face-to-face contacts and Interdisciplinary Treatment Team meetings.
- Monitor individual progress using Subjective Assessment Plan Evaluation (SOAPE) FORMATTED PROGRESS NOTES.
- Establish collaborative ties with community programs, groups, and agencies to develop supportive community relationships.
- Conduct mental health education and develop additional resources for mentally ill and sex offender individuals.
- Assist individuals in applying for entitlement benefits and community programs.
- Participate in IDTT meetings and compile and analyze data from audits pertaining to mental health program requirements.
- Provide written reports and consult with the Board of Prison Hearing and other CDCR staff.
- Develop a therapeutic relationship with individuals, families, and caretakers to enhance effective treatment delivery.
- Minimum 1-year previous working experience within the last 36 months as a Psychologist.
- Must be proficient in the English language and be able to communicate effectively.
- Ability to build rapport with individuals and provide strong leadership qualities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association).
- Must have the required licenses, permits, and/or certifications in the state of CA.
