Key Responsibilities:- Aircraft Maintenance and Repair: Perform diagnostic and mechanical duties on various aircraft models, including disassembly, repair, replacement, reassembly, and adjustment of aircraft systems.
- Inspection and Documentation: Check, correct, or replace complex aircraft assemblies and systems, ensuring compliance with FAR 43 documentation requirements while maintaining accurate written reports in logs and inspection documents.
- Parts Management: Order and obtain necessary parts for aircraft repairs, ensuring cores are returned per established procedures.
- Safety and Quality Control: Ensure all maintenance, preventive maintenance, alterations, or specialized services comply with Quality Control procedures while monitoring the work environment and correcting unsafe acts.
- Team Collaboration: Work as part of a team to meet customer expectations, assisting mechanics and avionic technicians as needed.
- Mobile Service Vehicle Maintenance: Assist the Lead MST in inspecting, maintaining, and servicing equipment and tooling in the mobile service vehicle, ensuring the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Education: High school education or GED required.
- Licenses and Certifications: A&P License required.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of inspection procedures set forth in FAR Part 145 is required.
