Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Veterinary Clinic Receptionist to join our team at Home Veterinary Services. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing patient flow, and maintaining a clean and welcoming reception area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets and welcomes clients and patients, answering questions and addressing concerns in a calm and empathetic manner.
  • Manages appointment scheduling, check-in and check-out processes, and payment processing with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintains a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a positive first impression for clients and patients.
  • Provides emotional support and comfort to clients and patients during times of need, demonstrating a strong understanding of veterinary care and compassion.
  • Works effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital setting, preferably in a reception or front desk role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, patients, and staff.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive and productive work culture.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in practice management software.
