Position: Full-Time School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our school team. This role involves providing occupational therapy services, conducting assessments, and developing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students. Experience in a school setting is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to identify students' strengths and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs to support students' functional and educational goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to promote students' cognitive, physical, and emotional development.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided to ensure seamless communication with stakeholders.
- Participate in IEP meetings to contribute to setting educational goals and developing strategies to support students' success.
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an OT.
- Prior experience in a school setting is highly desirable, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
